Guided Upland Hunts include your birds, guide and dog as well as the cleaning, packaging and labeling of your harvest. We offer quail, pheasant, and chukar for guided upland hunts.
Self-guided Upland Hunts are available for those who have their own dog, whether it is for training purposes or to bring a friend to hunt behind their own dog. A liability waiver will need to be signed by all participants and NC On Point, LLC. All Birds must be purchased through the preserve, as no outside birds are allowed. Self-guided hunters are responsible for setting their own birds, cleaning, packaging and labeling of the harvested birds.
Pheasant Tower Hunts are a great way to experience being out in the field. Fast paced action with never a dull moment you will not be bored in this hunt. The way this hunt works is there is what we call the pheasant tower in the center of the field. It will be loaded with as many birds as your group would like. The shooters will have shooting stations placed like a clock around the tower exactly 100 yards away and 55 yards apart. For example, you will have a station at 12 o’clock, 1 o’clock, 2 o’clock and so on to complete the 12-stand circle around the tower. The birds then are released from the tower one or two at a time and as soon as the shooting stops the next birds are released. There will be a pause in the shooting every so often to rotate stand locations and collect birds. This means everyone in the group will shoot from every station.

Gathering Space
NC On Point has the space for your next big fun event! If you just have a group of friends and family that all want to get together for a great day of fellowship and hunting our 30′ x 40′ fully enclosed building offers you a place to rest between hunts or have a meal with friends. Relax under the front porch in the shade overlooking the bird fields and ponds. Great place to share old memories and make new ones! Ask us about a group package!
Preserve Duck Hunts are unlike any hunt you’ve ever been on, non-stop action and exciting shooting. A great place to hone your shooting skills and learn more about duck hunting.
These hunts will take place on Thursday and Saturday mornings as availability and demand warrants.
They begin at 7:30 and include everything. A cost of $300 per gun, and this includes boat ride to your dry, comfortable blind, a guide, a dog, and your first 4 ducks.
With a preserve duck hunt, there are no limits, so you can shoot as many as you want. Additional ducks can be added for $30 per duck.
Deer Hunts: On our preserve, we are also managing and maintain a very healthy deer herd and habitat. With this in mind, we are now proud to offer guided deer hunts. You will be hunting from baited and scouted box blinds and stands, that have been strategically placed to maximize your success.
Offering both 1/2 day (Morning or Afternoon) as well as full day hunts, we will be offering 2 different hunting/harvest areas. We will have harvest areas where you are free to shoot anything you wish, and also Trophy areas where you must follow our strict management restrictions.
Our Trophy areas are very closely managed, and these areas have been designated for good reason. In these areas, bucks must 18″ wide and have atleast 8 points. A trophy fee of $800 will be added to cost of your hunt for bucks taken in these areas.
1/2 Day Hunts are $250 – 1 Deer Limit
Full Day Hunts are $400 – 2 Deer Limit (at least 1 doe)
Bear Hunting: We have some of the largest and best populations of Black Bears in the world, right here in our area. Ask us about our bear hunting options and packages.
Turkey Hunting
